The concept for JunkCar.com was started in 1936 when our founder's grandfather began wrecking
Model A Fords. Back then, the junking of the car was done simply with an axe, as the vehicles were wood frames
covered in sheet metal. Over the years the way vehicles are scrapped has changed and
so have we.
